EMT, Inc. provides a 24 hour a day bariatric service with TWO (2) special equipped ambulances. This advanced life support ambulance is capable of safely transporting patients up to 1100 pounds. The ambulance is equipped with a hydraulic lift that reduces the risk of injurt to the patient or crew. Scheduling of the bariatric ambulance is generally reserved for patients in excess of 400 pounds.
